Safety and Environmental Protection Center ensures safety in the course of oil recovery that is the main task for Vietsovpetro. This Center has special teams for oil blowout and fire prevention and extinguishing, as well as Service for Environmental Protection that gathers and eliminates oil spills at sea.

The Center is committed to protecting Vietsovpetro's personnel, equipment and facilities from potential risks, ensuring safety for all operations from exploration, production to treatment, transport of oil and gas for onshore and offshore facilities. 

The staff are experienced in oil and gas blowout prevention, oil spill recovery, fire prevention and fire fighting.

Equipment is international standards. Regulations and procedures for protection of inland and offshore environments have been strictly controlled and monitored on a regular basis. The Center is ready to supply petroleum companies and other enterprises the services that satisfy safety and environmental protection requirements.
