Vietsovpetro Venture Joint (VSP)’s leaders, Until 4:00am, October 21, VSP employees exploited 6.2 million tons of crude oil, ahead of the planned oil output in 2010. This is the oil exploitation target assigned by the VSP Council, of which 200,000 tons in the additional plan.

In 2010, VSP has made many innovative solutions to quickly bring new oil flow into operation: accelerating construction and put 7 oil projects into exploitation at Northeast of the White Tiger (BK-15 ) South of the White Tiger (BK-9, BK-14), South Dragon - Doi Moi (RC-4, RC-5, RC-Doi Moi), North East Dragon (RC1/RC3); Laying 74.65 km subsea pipelines to addition the connection of oil and gas exploration technology system in the Block 09-1; deploying nearly 50,000m of drilling and 46 repairs of wells, timely supplementing funds of exploitation wells; continuing to applying effectively technology solutions for oil exploitation in the fractured basement reservoir, controlling the flooding level and the reservoir pressure in the safety limits, maintaining the output of exploitation strategy.
