One of great success in human management works is that the Vietnamese management staff has quickly grown to replace positions earlier assumed by Russians. From the early days the Russian manpower made up to 80% but the proportion is reversed now ; most of key titles and positions to section and departments are undertaken by Vietnamese while only heads of technical sections and marine security are assumed by Russians. Especially the title of Director has been transferred to Vietnamese since July 1998. Particularly, the number of cruise members has increased sharply with more than 30 international-certificated divers, 3 captains, 7 chief mechanics and officers ranking from 1st rank Mate to 1st rank chief mechanics downward are undertaken by Vietnamese while in the beginning it only got workers ( for positions of sailor, mechanic, electrician...etc) due to its specific characteristics of gas and oil service. Because most of the ships are now highly- automatic and equipped with modern electrical system, the power system for ship is highly appreciated and positions thereof are undertaken by most of Vietnamese staff.
