Center of IT and Communication (CITC) is a member unit operating under the control of Vietsovpetro J/V (VSP), provides IT and communication servives.

CITC was established in 2004 according to the Decision of VSP Management Commitee to merge  IT and Communication department  of VSP

CITC has highly capable human resource, who is good qualified and experienced in IT and communication field. Most of them have gone through a lot of technical training programs and holding specialized international certificates.

Currently, CITC is managing and operating an IT and Communication system with large scale at VSP head office, unit divisions and offshore platfomrs on White Tiger and Dragon Fields.

CITC had provided solution concultancy for VSP to establish the modern IT and communication infrastructure (LAN, WAN, fiber cable system, telephone switchboard central, microwave, data transmission equipment, servers) and softwares in various fields (product management, engineering, constrution, modelling, survey). The solutions are based on technology of leader manufactures such as CISCO, HP, SUN, MICROSOFT, ORACLE, INTERGRAPH...

CITC is ready to supply for customer the equipments, concultancy services, solution design, implementing and technology transfer IT and communication products. Especially, CITC is capable supply the solutions and human resources for off-shore petroleum operations in oil and gas filed.
