Main tasks:

Logging & Testing Division (L&TD) was established in June 2, 1983 by the third Assembly Solution of VIETSOVPETRO Joint Venture, with the following tasks:

1.     Mud logging services and anti-collision while drilling services

2.     Wireline logging services

3.     Production logging services

4.     Perforation/ fishing services

5.     Cased hole Logging

6.     Well testing services

7.     Drilling auxiliary services

8.     Data acquisition, evaluation and interpretation.

9.     Supplying repairing services for speciality electronics-mechanics equiments.

Capacity and experience:

L&TD have conducted all the above mentioned services in nearly 300 wells of Cuu long and Nam Con Son basin’s fields such as White Tiger, Dragon, Big Bear, Soi, Dai Bang, Thien Ung, Mang Cau, Doi Moi, Ba Den, Ba Vi, Tam Dao,  Chom Chom and Su Tu Den...

During more the last ten years, L&TD have provided the high quality services for VRJ, PVEP, PIDC, KNOC, JVPC, Cuu Long JOC, PETRONAS…

To expand potential activities , in 2007 L&TD have been equiped specialzed devices,  assisting efficiently in logging in highly deviated or horizontal wells such as Toolpushers, Capacitance Array  Tools. We are also  equiped 01 unit of Vertical Seismic Profiling (with packets) to provide information in the vicinity of the well-bore both in spatial and time domains.
