The US$30 mil. living barge arrived PTSC downstream port

According to Petroleum Technical Services Corporation (PTSC), the new 300-seat living barge that PTSC ordered from Jaya Shipbuilding & Engineering Pte., Ltd​​


According to Petroleum Technical Services Corporation (PTSC), the new 300-seat living barge that PTSC ordered from Jaya Shipbuilding & Engineering Pte., Ltd. was towed to Vietnam and is anchoring at PTSC downstream port, Vung Tau city.

PTSC and Jaya are presently conducting status of technical check before handing-over. It is known that the 300-seat dumb living barge was newly built in 2010 in China with a length of 111.56 m, width of 31.70 m, 7.31 m draft, registered by ABS + A1 Barge , 1.800m2 of deck area, 300 tons of crane -lifting capacity, 8 mooring points ... worth up to US$ 30 million.

This is the first living barge of PTSC as well as Vietnam. This barge investment project is to improve the PTSC competitiveness, enable PTSC to gain initiative t in implementation of oil and gas projects operating in and the region.
