Drilling & Workover Division (DWD) is a sub division of JV Vietsovpetro, was established in june 2nd, 1983, has an international staff, they has many experience for exploration and production drilling oil & gas wells. DWD has skillful staffs at technical specialist and management, including doctors, masters, experts, engineers and technicians. They were trained in Universities & Institutes in domestic and overseas.
DWD has equiped three jackups Tam Dao-01, Tam Dao-02 and Cuu Long with modern equipments, six completed Uranmash-3D drilling rigs,one Mobile modular Workover Unit, six Drilling crews and with productive service base, derrick fitting workshop, cementing workshop, Mud department to meet package and separately services in drilling and workover
In oder to meet customers’ increasing demands, DWD has improved the management of production and business by applying quality management system ISO 9001:2008, ISM Code, ISPS Code.
DWD has workover over 779 times of wells and 1400000 m to be drilled in many fields such as White Tiger, Dragon, Soi, Hoang Long, Big Bear, Ba Den, Ba Vi, Thien Ung, Dai Bang, Vai Thieu, Chom chom...with Up to 70 degree directional drilling by the DWS’s equipment and personnel and DWD has drilled for many contractors as VRJ, PVSC...
